| Looong Weekend Well moose was spay on Thurs and also had 2 pup teeth pulled. I was lost, thankfully my boyfriend was in fl so I spent the day with hime after dropping moose off. Picked her up fri. We were both very happy to see each other. She took it fairly easy on Fri, but by sat she was licking and itching her stitches. She just got wose as the night went I would spry bitter apple she would lick it off barf and then lick and scratch more. Do to some of the Hurricane off shoots I didn't sleep too much Sat night, trying to listen for tornados. Well about 5 I got moose out of her crate and took her to her pad to potty. When I picked her up I looked at the stitches. She has lick out 1 or 2 of them and it was all nice and swollen. Went today and got her one of those cones which has kept her from licking but now I'm worried about tonight and when I'm at work tomorrow. I put so neosporin on gauze and wraped the area with that pet tape. Any other suggestions? I will be calling the vet in the morning from work to see if she will have to have the stitches put back in.

| Onesies I have male dogs, but alot of the ladies recommend that you use a baby's onesie garment to keep them from licking the stitches, don't quite know how that works with going to potty, but I am sure that you will get more responses. |

| I put a diaper on Buddha but I was there to take him potty. If you have to leave her you could try making a bellyband like the boys have that would fit over the incision but allow her to still go potty. I reused the collar because I think it depresses the dog unnecessarily. |
