Donating YT 30K Club Member | A Bile Acid test would need to be done to see if his levels are high meaning a possible shunt.They have to fast for this test so some of the little ones need to be at the vets during the fasting to make sure their blood sugar doesn't drop too much. Sometimes a hypoglycemic episode can resemble a mild seizure. My pom had a grand mal seizure a few weeks ago it was definatley different. She let out a weird scream and started mowing her legs strangely and her body kind of contorted and then it looked liek she stopped breathing for 30 seconds and then she started to move again and then just laid there staring. By the time I got her to the er she pretty much had come out of it but was not herself for days. With the hypoglycemia they tend to stagger and start to or do fall over. Hope this helps. Did Blue have an episode similar to these?
