| Skin irritation/scabs-not the mange Barney is 7 months old and is experiencing a bad skin rash. He is itching alot and creating scabs all around his neck and head. The vet check said it is not the mange but gave special shampoo and an antihistimine and a RX for an antibiotic. he is fed Nutro Max. Any similiar problems or experience with this food? i'm thinking he might have an allergy causing this. |

| It could be a food allergy. You may want to change to a single source protein food with no corn or wheat. Something like sweet potato and fish or I think solid gold holistic blend is wheat, corn and poultry free. Remember it takes 6 weeks for you to really see the change with foods. Good luck. |
