| food for my 10 week old yorkie currently i just bought a 10 week old yorkie 24th of this month. she is now eating Professional Puppy Chicken & Barley Formula. how much water do i put in to make i soft . for the past few days ive been putting a lot in to fill it to the top. what are your recommendations?

| There's lots of good brands out there... I use Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul and it works for us... Other brands are Orijen, Timberwolf and Canidae...just to name a few. I was told to put water in Meka's food when I first got her. We keep doing it for about a week or so, then she just wouldnt eat it like that anymore. We stopped putting the water in it and that solved it...she didnt like the water. I think that you might be able to use chicken broth or something like that as a substitute though...

| hey thanks.. i was also wondering about trying new foods for her but she seems to love the professional . but in the case i wanted to switch how would i o about this without upsetting her stomach

| Mix 75% of her old food with 25% new for a few days, then 50/50, then 75% new and 25% old and then 100% new. I would not recommend doing the total switch in any less than 3 days but it is best to do it over 4 to 7 days or maybe even 10.
