| Canidae to Merrick? I recently had Bobby on Canidae but then I read up about how there's been acetaminophen found in the food. So, after home-cooking for awhile I've decided to try Merrick Wilderness All Life Stages Dry Food. Anyone have any bad experiences with Merrick? Any input is welcome!

| Hmmmmmm...... I haven't heard of that dog food, but hopefully someone can help you. What is acetaminophen anyway? I changed Riley from Eukanuba to Canidae. Here is a good dog food review site http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/ |

| I didn't have a bad experience with it....Murfee just didn't like it. The little turkey would spit out ALL of the veggies so I had a mess all over the place. Merry Christmas

| Idk about the acetaminophen part. I just read tons of articles about that being a rumor. Heres the article link http://www.itchmo.com/canidae-releas...aminophen-2868 It seems the laboratory that was doing the testing were making false reports. They did it to more than one manufacturer. I really hope they get to the bottom of this because if its true, I'm taking Riley off of it. |

| Mine eat Canidae and we have had no problems. I think the acetaminophen (Tylenol) was a rumor. There was never a recall and if their had been a recall, it would definetly had been all over YT. |

| I posted something about this awhile ago on YT. I believe it is a rumor. Evidently the sample of Canidae was taken to the lab in a ziploc bag. There is really no credibility in that but I would be nervous too. I would not stop feeding Canidae for that reason but they seem to be having other quality control issues (hard plastic found in snap biscuits) that concerns me. I have seen a picture of this (on YT), so this one is true. Merrick had aso had some quality control issues I have heard. I would be uncomfortable feeding that also.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | I have always fed my dogs Merricks. Awesome food and the fact that it's all natural works for me. My sister was feeding her dog something else that was causing a corn allergy and I had her switch him to the Merricks. His allergies went away and his hair grew back in the patches that had fallen out. Home cooking would probably be best but I personally work full time and have three young children so I don't have that much extra time. The Merricks seems to be very good and lulu loves it. Good luck.

I believe acetaminophen is asprin. I did hear something about this a while ago...I spoke to my friend (who owns a speciality pet store) who sells Canidae and she did some research. She said this is NOT true. Where so many dog foods were being recalled, a while back, they thought it may be a hoax of some kind to make Canidae look bad. This is what I was told. I do feed Canidae.

| It was said to be a rumor passed around about Canidae. The company itself (Canidae) said the rumor was no true. I feel all of mine Canidae, have been for awhile and they do great on it!! It is the only food they really love and really helps their coat as well.
