| Looks like we've been hacked! Out of curiousity, do you smoke? I used to smoke about 3 packs a day! My husband and I were so addicted to cigarettes that we continued to smoke AFTER he had a cancerous lung removed! It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, giving up smoking. I am a recovering alcoholic, but giving up drinking over 16 years ago was easier than giving up those cigarettes. It's been 13 years, 8 months, 2 weeks, 3 days, 10 hours, and 46 minutes since my last cigarette, but hey, who's counting? It's been years since I wanted a drink, but I want a cigarette every day. I tried the patches, gum, hypnosis, acupuncture and Smoke Enders, and seriously tried to quit about 6 times. All that was good practice for going "cold turkey" and using the 12-steps of AA to finally get me to let go of those cigarettes. Now, if I run into you and you're puffing away, would you PLEASE blow that delicious second hand smoke my way? I'm the only reformed smoker I know that LOVES a good lungful of second-hand smoke. Right now I am just so happy that I don't smoke because it sure wouldn't be good for my little Higgin's little lungs. Love and hugs, Mary Ellen |
