| Am I feeding her enough? Hi all, Kasey is my two-year old Yorkie, and lately she seems to be hungry all of the time. I give her two rounded tablespoons of Artemis kibble for each meal (twice a day), and mix it with about a teaspoon or two of grated parmesan and a small strip of (chopped up) boiled chicken. I mix it all up well with some water, and she gobbles it up. She seems to be looking for food more -- going to the storage area, making noises. This morning she was up early, making it clear she was ready to eat. She weighs six and a half pounds, and until the last couple of months didn't even finish her meals all the time. Now she's gobbling them up and seems to want more! Any thoughts on whether I'm giving her enough? I'll ask the vet when we go in January, but in the meantime thought that maybe you all might have a perspective on this.... Thanks! Kim

| I always give the recommended amout on the bag of food. Yes, they still seem like they are still hungry but I stick to it. Last thing I want is an overweight babies and have health complications later. You can always give them some healthy fruit of vegi treats if you feel like you need to give them more. Carrots & Apples are fantastic - NO GRAPES!
