| Info on Everlasting Treat Ball I was just looking at buying the Everlasting Treat Ball after reading a posting from a couple of weeks ago. There was a scary review on Amazon.com about the product. Not sure of the source. Please read: "Unbelievable!!!!!!!! This product contains wheat gluten from China! Does anyone who works for Amazon or Triple Crown or the seller in Oakland(?) read the paper or watch the news? Do not feed your pet this product--it should have been recalled because, or course, there is a high likelihood that it contains melamine, which has been implicated in illness and death of many dogs. My email to the marketer was answered--I was told to contact the manufacturer who did not answer me (and I was not rude). Is Amazon still marketing this stuff? I doubt that this review will be published. " |

| There is wheat gluten in it, but apparently it's still safe. They explain it more on their website (sorry, I don't remember it off hand but you could probably do a search). My Mocha won't even look at the Everlasting Treatball though...he prefers is bully sticks |

| I'm confused. What exactly is the Everlasting Treat Ball? If it is just a ball that you put treats into, why not just put the treats you like in it?

| The Everlasting Treat ball is a rubber like "ball" - one side is flat where you insert the Everlasting treat disc (from the maker of the Everlasting Treat Ball) - the other said as slots where you can put other treats (we use Yorkie Yummies). If PetsMart is now carrying them (which they haven't in the past), maybe they are safe and cleared from all the recall mess?? Maybe you can call PetsMart and see if they carry them and if they have been approved and considered safe??

| Tricksie has had the Everlasting Treat Balls and the treats all of her life. That is the only toy that she can't chew up. She has never been sick/ I can't remember the web site but go to a search engine and type in Everlasting Treat Ball and you will see that they are safe.
