| Carrots Sweet Potato Apples??????? Does anyone feed their babies Carrots, Sweet Potatos, Apples? If you do ...are they Raw or Cooked? My baby loves carrots, and I have given him alittle apple, then someone told me to give him swet potatos because some dog foods have these already in it. I give the apples and carrots raw, would love to give him sweet potatos but should I cook them first? Need some advice. He has a sensitive tummy, and so far so good. Thanks any help you can give me katharine

| Carrots and apples, yes. Raw. I give Suzy grated carrot or small pieces, she's not a fan of bigger chunks - she plays with them, not eats them. I gave her her first apple the other day, but I gave it to her whole because I wanted to see what she'd do with it. She played with it like a ball but then sunk her teeth in and licked her lips. She ate a little but then moved onto something else. It was very cute to watch. I haven't given her sweet potato, so I can't comment on that. |

| Cali loved them all! I usually give her cooked SP...raw apples and you can do both with carrots! Try geen beans, too!

| I give my yorkie sweet potato as well, but I always cook it. I also cook carrots or pulverize them because dogs cannot digest vegetables the way humans can. Apples are great treats!!

| I give 2 wedges of apple for my yorkie, few slices of raw carrots with his meal, and a little bit of cooked sweet potato or yam when I have some. He loves apples to death, he will whin all the way until I finished peeling and cutting the apples into small pieces. |

| I cook the veggies too, they love it so the apple is a good snack not to much because of the sugar |

| I do give sweet potato (peeled and cooked), apples (peeled and cored) and carrots (peeled and cooked or raw on occasion).

| I think you would want to cook the SP, but the rest can be given raw or cooked.
