I'm not sure it will help but it's worth a try. Shave the top third inside and out and trim around the edges first. then here is the way i do it. i cut four little squares to fit their ears. Put one square on each side of each ear. Then trim the sides being careful not to cut the dogs ears. then i cut a little long strip and fold sticky sides together . Then I pull the ears up (not out to the side and not over but straight up) and fasten the long piece to each side with another little strip. Works for me. They look like little nurse caps when you are thru. Oh, and I use masking tape.

my 14 lb yorkie had her ears up at 6 weeks when I got her, I think that's a myth..but, if she's 2, I was told if they're not up by a few mos. they won't come up..I know my biewers never did, and he's only 6 lbs. I wouldn't mess with the 2 year olds ears, but would def. try the little ones

viagra? haha i was just making fun of abbie because our dogs are brother and sister and her dog weighs a pound more than my dog at 10 weeks old. I call her bertha and she gets mad at me :-) i know im mean lol.. her older dog is the one with the problem and they stood up when he was little but i guess they kinda got limp over the years so I think there might be hope for him. anyone think a little viagra might help get em up?

I wouldn't worry to much about the ears, Chase is 16 weeks old his little ears don't know what they want to do one day the left ear is erected and the right is floppy the next day it is reversed, there were even a couple weeks where both ears were erected. Like you I was concerned I had read about taping the ears and having them shaved. I had Chases's shaved, same old story about the ears. I was told by a vet that at this age they are teething and that is the cause for the floppy ears.
