| Trembling My seven month old yorkie seems to shake more than normal. The weather is cooler so I thought he was cold. I put sweaters etc. on him, but they don't help. I have noticed that he shakes worse in the morning before he's ate. So I thought it might be low blood sugar. He weighs 3.5 pounds. I checked his gums and they are dark, not pink. I looked up liver shunts, but he doesn't have any of those symptoms. He eats well, he plays, he barks, he sleeps, and no change in bathroom habits. What could be going on? Should I be concerned and go to the vet? His little tummy also growls a lot until he eats. I leave food out all the time for him and his sisters. He's still on puppy food.

| I agree. You may want to call the vet though. They can test his sugar and tel you for sure. If he ever shakes right after he eats I would call the vet immediately but that doesn't sound like the case.
