Petco Vaccinations Petco is offering shots this weekend in Chicago. I thought about taking Riley, but I'm worried that they might over vaccinate him because hes so small. Has anyone else took their baby to Petco for shots?

They cannot overvaccinate unless you let them. JMO,If you take your puppy into petco I am sure that they will offer the combo shot and rabies. I would not give both at the same time. It is not worth it. Take him later and get his rabies and make sure their combo does not have lepto in it. Good Luck

| I don't see a problem with giving the combo and rabies at the same time, especially if you've already given the combo before without any problems. None of my pets have ever had any problems from having multiple shots at once. I think it will be fine for you to go to Petco..there should be a vet doing it so they ought to know what they are doing

If she has a tiny there is no way he should have all his shots at one time in addition with his rabies. They should divide them up. This is according to 3 veterinarians, 2 at different practices. Of course every veterinarian does things a little different don't they? I am just talking from the standpoint of my vet and having a smaller yorkie. Do keep in mind tho that just because they did not have a reaction to their first shot never guarantees they will not have a bad one the second time. I am just a big believer in better safe than sorry.

I have been taking Romeo there for all his shots He just had his second series. He is on the Puppy Pack program. This saturday he had a shot and a worm drink and I gave him his heart worm pill on tuesday, First time he had 3 shots. The vet is great. She answers all your questions. Our Petco has it every saturday from 9:00 till 10:30. Thats puppy time. Romeo loves meeting all the other dogs. I does get crowed, so get there early. First time was 48$. Second time was 30$. On the way out we had his nails trimmed for 10$. I have been very satisfied so far.
