| Mine eat green beans all the time and love them. They didn't do too well with the mashed potatoes the one time they had them-one of they got diarrhea. And of course not garlic mashed potatoes

| Thanks for that recipe link!!! I was thinking that they couldn't have turkey and potatoes, but I am not sure...maybe someone knows for sure. Mojo has a sensitive tummy, but he loves cooked carrots and green beans and even peas (with nothing on them)...and plain cooked yams!

| On the turkey(as chicken as well), ONLY white meat..the dark meat is too rich and will give them diarrhea..I found this out on my own, then asked the vet..he said a little white meat won't hurt them, but, then again, I try and not give mine hardly any people food, as it's really not good for them, makes them not want their own food. |

| A little bit is okay. But be careful of too much. We normally add quite a bit of salt to our green beans (even the canned green beans are so salty) and the mashed potatos usually have lots of butter. So only small amounts if you really want them to have some

| Salt...that is a good warning too........not to sound gross or anything, but I do not add salt to ANYTHING (not even eggs)...and any canned vegies, I rinse in water several times. I always look at the sodium on everything! I have been reading labels for everything lately!

| Holiday Food My Conner loves a bit of a plain baked potato. Trouble loves the turkey. The Vet told me years ago no ham or cranberries -but I am sure everyone knows that. Thank you for who put out the Rachel Ray recipe-it sounds like worth checking out! Trouble's mama Beth and Happy Halloween Yorkie Lovers! |
