| I don't but, at times think it would be well worth it! I've spent $150 in two weeks just on my two. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have VPI on my 2 yorkies and it is worth every penny. I just like knowing if something major happens(and it has several times) I can get them the care they need. It costs 23.00 a month for each. The sooner you get it the less chance of any preexistin conditions being excluded.

YT Addict | 23.00 is the Superior Plan, and it is the highest you can go. I have VPI and pay 28.99 with the Superior Plan. They also allow you to have pet care premium coverage, that also covers routine dental work and checkups.. I didn't know about that when I signed up, so I might have to add that. But the price at least for Teddy is around 37.00. You can get a quick quote on the vpi website www.petinsurance.com/

| Also, I am not sure if I should select Optional Endorsements (Vaccination and Routine Care Coverage)? Everyone thinks this portion is necessary? I already have Chloe spayed and microchipped. Thanks for your input in advance!! Last edited by mminichan; 10-29-2007 at 05:57 PM. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | The 23.00 is for the Superior plan without the routine package.

| So, when you go to the vet you don't pay anything or pay a small amount? Sorry I'm not very knowledgable on the subject.... |

| pet insurance I spoke with someone from VPI this week, with my employer you get a discount. I also picked up brochure from ASPCA pet insurance at vets today (new puppy check up and shots). VPI is www.petinsurance.com 1-800-usa-pets www.aspcapetinsurance.com 1-866-861-9092 ASPCA has 5 different coverages with different payment options too. I haven't decided on VPI or ASPCA yet. Would love to hear from people and why you chose one insurance over the other.

Elphaba just went for her second round of puppy shots...Got DHL-P, Coronavirus, plus 6 months of heart guard. I paid $35 at the vet - and just got a check for $30. We went on 10/15, I faxed the claim the next day, and got the check yesterday. | |
