| Suggestions, please After bathing, Riley and Penny are so soft and pretty. Penny will stay that way for awhile, with the silkiness returning every time I comb her. Riley, on the other hand, seems to lose all silkiness within a day or so of bathing. Combing her doesn't seem to help as it does with Penny. Any suggestions? What can I do to keep Riley's coat silky and soft? She has a very slow-growing coat, and she's only 10 months old. I know it took Penny awhile to get the super silky feel; it came as she got older. Is it just a case of age or is there something else I can do or a product I can use? |

| Do you use any kind of conditioning spray when combing Riley? I don't think it is an age thing, cause Angel (10 months) is always silky, but Sissy has a much drier coat. I use different shampoos on them even as what I like for one, I don't like for the other!!!

| No, I don't. Do you have a particular spray you'd recommend? Dry is a good word to describe Riley's coat. I have a bottle somewhere of a finishing spray (from CC, I think) that I'd purchased for Penny. Never made a difference for her, though. |

Therapy Dog Donating Member | A friend of mine shows his Yorkies and he is Izzy's groomer and he uses the JB Almond shampoo and the Coat Handler conditioner on Izzy and she is so soft and shiny and I also use that inbetween groomings as well. I use way more conditioner than the bottle directions. I get a 4 cup glass Pyrex measuring cup and use 1 part conditioner with 3 parts water or sometimes even 50:50. JB has a website you can get their products from.
