| Basic health trim (video?) for puppy Does anyone know of a site that has a video of someone doing basic health trims for a puppy? We are waiting until it's safe to give more vaccinations to Gizmo and we are struggling to break the tapeworm cycle, so I am not going to take him to a groomer for awhile. He's looking really ragged though and his little feet are slipping a lot on the floor. We've had him four weeks and the ear hair is long and I know I need to trim around his anus. He also has a lot of hair in his eyes and neither he (nor my husband) will tolerate a topknot! However, I have never done this before and I am more of a visual learner, so if anyone knows of a video, or dvd that could help the scruffy looking little boy in the photo and his nervous momma, please let me know.

| I found these videos and wondered if anyone could recommend them? If you don't want to post, please pm. 1.) PET GROOMING THE SMALL LONG COATED BREEDS VIDEO by Sonnen Productions (approx. $50) Looks like a lot more than I need, but if the basic information is clear, it's worth a shot? http://www.dogwise.com/ItemDetails.c...45296&Method=3 2.) SHOW OFF YOUR DOG: GROOMING BASICS DVD by Ena Lane (approx. $30) I think this is the one I am going for unless someone tells me differently. http://www.dogwise.com/Item_Inside.c...141&curImage=2 I also found a site with some illustrations that will help... http://www.ytca.org/grooming_clips1.html Any help would be appreciated. My scruffy little boy and I thank you!

| Very true. It's great information also, but I really want to see a video or watch someone do it. Thank you for taking the time to respond.

Maybe try searching Youtube.com to see if anything comes up? Just a thought. Good luck with your search. I have never watched any of those videos though, so sadly, I can not recommend either way to you. | |
