| Spikey, Clumped together hair Rusty's hair does this spikey, clumped together thing that I do not know how to fix. I can brush it with a slicker and when I am done Rusty will shake and POOF instant spikey, clumped toether hair again. Does anyone know what causes this or what I can do to take care of it. I have considered having him trimmed, shaved, whatever but he is 9 months old & I have NEVER even had him trimmed. His hair grows sooooooo slow that I am afraid to do it not knowing if it will NOT grow back. ????????? Any suggestions here??????????

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | You can try adding a supplement to his food that contains omega fatty acids. Alot of people here, including me, give their dogs Missing Link with their food. I have also used Solid Gold Seameal. Most people notice a huge difference in their dogs coats within a couple of weeks. Also perhaps its the food. Personally, i am not a fan of Iams/Eukanuba company.

| Well, we had him on Canidae and then Sophie came into the picture and it gave her such bad diahrea that we put her back on what she was on when I bought her and now Rusty won't eat the Canidae.... I am at a loss of what to do with them. I would love to find a food they will both like and not give stomach problems or hair problems.... p.s. Where do I get Missing Link??? Sorry if that is a stupid question

Other foods to try are Wellness and Merricks. Morgan loved both of these. Just today i purchased nature's variety frozen raw food. she gobbled it up for dinner.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | You can write to each company and ask for samples. That's what i did. I got samples from practically every company i was interested in. They were more then happy to send out big samples.
