| "Hairy" question Emmy refuses to wear her hair up in a ponytail, top knot, or even a barrette. Is my only option to keep it cut short? I would like it to grow out, but I am not sure what to do with it in the meantime. It is all in her face! We have grooming appts. at a new groomer the end of this month. I hope it works out better than the last groomer! I still have my pictures from last time! Maybe this time the groomer will "LOOK" at them!

| How tight are you putting her topknot in? If it's really tight, then it's probably very uncomfortable for her and that's why she's ripping it out. I would let her hair grow out and then put a topknot in there really lose and see how that works. If it doesn't work and you want her to have short hair instead of long and all in her face, then I guess you could go ahead and cut it then. But don't give up! It takes awhile for them to get used to it. |

| Gracie used to hate it too now she lays down on me for me to put it up! You just have to be constant with it so they get used to it! Give them a little treat after your done putting their hair up so they know its a good thing! If you use the little kid scrunchies they arent as tight and more comfy for them! Dont give up! Good Luck!

| Rubber bands vs scrunchies I did not put it in very tight at all...her hair is so thin the scrunchies fall right out! I will keep trying it--Oscar will probably love to have something to grab onto when the tussle!
