Donating YT 3000 Club Member | HELP! I don't know what shampoo I should get now! Ok, now that Minksheen didn't work for me, what shampoo should I get now???? Bengi has a modified silk/cottony coat, or something like that. His head is more like modified silk, and his body is more cottony. What product do you guys suggest? I heard about Pet Silk, Cranberry Field, etc. For those who have a yorkie with a coat that not silky, what product do you use???? |

| My Harley is a modified silk, too. I have heard great things about each of the ones that you mentioned. What we just recently started using on Harley is ESPREE's Color Enhancing Shampoo and then the Finishing Spray once he dries. Tammy |

| Both of my yorkies have modified silk and I use Petzlife Cranberry Fields shampoo and conditioner. I've tried MANY shampoos, mostly on the cheaper side since I'm on a budget, but the Cranberry Fields shampoo and conditioner has done wonders for their skin and coat. It's great. I will never use anything else. The best part about it is the PRICE!!!!!!!!! Kathryn V sells it at www.beyondspoiled.com. |

| You really have to try and see what works best for their coat. Some good shampoos and conditioners that people here seem to like: SheaPet, Petsilk, Coat Handler's, and I think Happy Tails is another good line. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I know each furbaby is different and although having same type of coat does not guarantee it will work. I think I might get the Cranberry field shampoo. But I hope that whichever branch I choose works, otherwise hubby is gonna kill me if he sees a new shampoo that doesn't work! |

| #1 ALL SYSTEMS shampoo and conditioner is what most people who show Yorkies use. I still use it and it's great, but I also really love Dr. Bronners liquid castile soap because it's more pure than any shampoo and won't dry the skin and coat and is gentle enough for new born babies. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Chanel is cotton coated and I haven't found one single shampoo that works for her as good as Chris Christensen products. I love other products on Cheri but for cotton coats the CC is the one I ALWAYS come back to - it transformed her hair from dry looking to nice and soft |

| CLOUD STAR BUDDY WASH. It's awesome and it smells great. Last week I tried using some of my finishing products for frizzy hair (Matrix Sleek Look) and that helped a little.

| You can order a sample size of the Chris Christensen products to try before you buy a big bottle if you aren't sure. Also some of the others such as Espree will send you a free sample if you request it from their website. |
