My furkids Donating Member | Bought some Cowboy Magic yesterday I first tried it on Sadie(she is 2 1/2 yrs old and doesnt' mind brushing). Sadie has a silky coat so brushing her was easy...It made her hair very soft...Then I tried Lillie ( 5 months old)...Lillie HATES being brushed...Lillie has a cottony coat, she bites at the brush and whines like I am killing her! She is doing very good with her baths now and, I can even use the hair dryer on her but when it comes to brushing FOR GET IT! The CM works great but, I couldn't get all the matts out of her because she keeps moving!!! I am hoping with time she will get more used to it...Of course there is a little pulling because her coat is thicker than Sadies....Lillies hair is matting with the adult coat starts and the puppy coat ends...I hope when her adult coat comes in it will be easier to take care of... Oh! forgot to ask....do you think if I mixed some CM with water and sprayed it on her this would be easier? how about after her bath when she is still wet? I know it can be used this way but do you think it would make it easier to brush the matts out?
