| Losing Hair MY 10 mth old gal is soft coated and for some odd reason she is losing her hair in her back end, i thought it may be fleas but ive been bathing her very regular. her hair is matting more easily than ever and falling out. I am waiting on some advantage to ship to my house, if that doesn't help i don't know what i'll do!!!!! I thought about giving her a cut, but i dont want to!!!! know of any quick fixes?

| I would go to the vet to rule out any medical reason why she is losing hair first.

| mange? Sometimes mites. The vet is the best way to go. They will most likely do a skin scraping with a razor blade and then look at it under the microscope. |

| I agree, I would take her to the vet, there are alot of things that could cause hair loss. Just a thought, what diet or food do you have her on?? A poor diet or food could cause hair loss. Or it could be food allergies, alot of yorkies here are allergic to corn. Just something to consider when trying to figure out the problem.

| Toto did that once and it turned out to be an allergy to a dye in new carpet. Just a thought.
