Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | help with Morgan's mop head the hair on morgan's head is just ridiculous. Look at it. 1 day after she has a bath her hair is dirty and she looks like she has a bowl haircut. I'm debating cutting it short, tho i really don't want to. Anyone have cut pictures with shorter head hair? or anyone have any tips on how i can help my girl look not so dirty and blind? i'm surprised she can see where's she going most of the time when she doesn't have her hair in a knot. I only have her hair in a knot when i'm home for a while. i'm weary of putting a knot in while i'm at work for a couple hours. what if she gets it out and eats the rubberband? help please

| The only thing i can suggest really is to put her hair up in a top knot. My Duchess is growing out her summer cut and is going through the same problem. I wish i never gave her a summer cut as her coat was beautiful before. Unfortunatley they have to go through the tatty stages to grow it out, so i would use put it in a knot. |

| Ohhh, don't cut her beautiful hair! Don't give up on it, especially if it's already long enough to put into a topknot. Don't be afraid of her getting the ponytail out and eating the elastic. If you use the latex bands, just put it in good and tight - not tight to her head, but tight around the hair - and when you want to take it out, CUT it out rather than fighting to pull it out and possibly breaking the hair. If she still has small little pieces around her face that dont quite make it into the ponytail, try using a little vaseline (LITTLE being key) to smooth them up or down depending on the direction you want to grow them (I mean up into the ponytail or down on either side of the nose). Yorkies look cute with puppy cuts too, but nothing beats a Yorkie with a bow!

| Hi - this is bas1, I'm new here, but my 8 month old male would have the same problem if I did'nt keep his hair in a band - he does'nt really like it alot but I do it in the morning and as soon as I do I get his mind off of it with a toy - and it seems to help - if I see him try to scratch at it during the day I distract him again with a toy - it seems to work and he also like to hear how handsom he is when I groom him in the morning - hope that helps some bubba's mom bas1 |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i've had morgan's hair in either pig tails or a giant pom pom on her head for a couple days now. i'm gonna leave it in over night this time to see what happens. i like being able to see her eyes. i'm hoping once the hair grows and settles it won't constantly be in her face. just have to wait and see.

| Your baby is beautiful, even with the hair in her eyes! You've already gotten great advice. When I put Ginger's hair up, I usually leave it until it starts to look lopsided. Then I redo it. Sometimes a day, sometimes two... Just started that after reading here that several others go overnight. I'm actually seeing less breakage (not that there was alot before) and she doesn't even seem to notice. Plus, I get to see her beautiful eyes all the time. Good luck!
