| Poor coat quality Has anyone else had problems with their dogs coat becoming brittle and dry after having puppies? Kitty's coat was dry and brittle after having her pups in Feb. She itched at the dry skin and broke most of her hair off. I am having a hard time growing her coat back out. What should I do? I have tried different foods but the only one that she eats well and does well on is the Royal Canin for Yorkshire Terriers. I have use mirical coat supplement also. Her skin is no longer dry but I just can't seem to get her coat to grow. Should I clip her so her hair is even? It is real short around her shoulders where she scratched. Her hair was silky before she lost it. Any advise? Thanks!

| I have a 10 minth old pup and he has dry and brittle hair as well. I think I read something about cowboy magic or something like that. I'm researching at this moment. I'll post what I find out but would love to hear other suggestions. His hair was getting alot better when he was groomed really short but as it gets longer, its thin and dry. I also feed him innova which is high quality food so I don't get it.

| I use missing link. It has worked wonders on Timmy's coat. I seen results within 3-4 days. AT first his coat was dry & brittle and I could see his skin and now his coat is growing and its coming in full. I use Cowboy Magic detangler and shine for Mimi as she gets matted and sometimes I put some on Timmy for shine. |
