| Kinda odd "hair cut" picture request.... Kiki is about 17 weeks now. I already shaved her puppy coat off once, b/c it was just SOOOOO thick and curly and fuzzy, impossible to comb through, and she was starting to look like a chia pet. It's starting to grow back in, and is straighter and easier to comb, but I'm still suspecting she might end up being a cotton coat. If so, I may decide to keep her in a permanent puppy-cut (which I think is just as cute, anyway!) Here's my question (finally getting around to it! ): For those of you who keep the hair longer on the head, and shorter on the body....what do you do with the back of the head/neck (from ears to tops of shoulders)? I'd like to keep it long, but don't know where/how to do the break between long/short. Does the question make any sense?! My weird request is for pictures of the BACK of your dog's head, if they have a cut like this.

| I shave up the back of their neck and try to take off the dark color and leave the gold. I leave their hair long on top, it parts in back. I just shaved her today. I tried to get a pic but the moon is full and the pups are crazy tonight. I also shave them close, I like it better after a week or so, and I put t-shirts on them during the day to make sure they do not get sunburned.

| I have six yorkies. I am growing out two of their coats, Zowie and Robyn. They play outside all day, so I am having trouble keeping all the little sticks brushed out of them all. I shaved off Bronx and Trina today, and tomorrow I will shave Quattro. I prefer to do it earlier in the spring and later this fall due to the hot temperatures, but I am cutting their legs down lower now than I did this spring. Bronx and Quattro have very curly hair, and it matts a lot more. I think the puppy hair matts a lot more than their true coat, so you might just see. It is a lot easier to comb until it gets about 2" long.
