Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | at this point your better off just getting a dental done. he might have gingevitis. after the dental is done, brush his teeth every day and you shouldn't have a problem again. best thing is to start from scratch again with pearly white teeth |

If you are planning on any surgeries, etc. you could do a dental cleaning at the same time - that way, he wouldn't have to "go under" too often - I always worry about that. I only brush Mojo's teeth a few times a week. Sometimes it is 4 days a week, sometimes it may only be one or two. My vet checks his teeth every time we go in (which seems like at least once a month or so - I'm a freak). She says they look good and therefore doesn't want to give him gas just for that right now. She will if it comes down to him needing it done, but he is good to go for the time being. I've never used the doggie breath biscuits, so I don't know if those are good or if they even work or not. Good luck!

| Hello there... Little Luna has had a very bad breath during teething... She was killing me!! I started using on her drinking water a couple drops of Burt's Bees peppermint breath drops (I got it at HEB on the "natural" stuff) and it seems to be working... it worked better on the water than directly on the mouth, even when she liked... You may try it, hopefully it work also for you... She is much better now. Good luck!

| If a dog's breath is bad most likely it is because of bacteria (bad tooth or diseased gums). This product doesn't just cover up the problem it fixes it. Check it out and you might not have to go in for that dental cleaning. http://www.tobysnaturalpets.com/petz.htm Here's a YT link about the product http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=bad+breath |

| Is this something that started recently? Because some piggy twists will make Ginger’s breath smell fowl for days afterwards. I think it’s the smell if that meat stuck between her teeth decaying.
