| Ponytail Hi! I have a question about ponytail and elastic bands. Every few days I reorganize Bella's ponytail and once I take the elastic band out I also pull s few hairs with it. Is it normal? I am concerned that in a few months from now she won't have hair on her head Any advice? Thanks! |

| Redo her topknot daily, combing the hair thoroughly. Are the elastic bands a scrunchie or rubber band? If using a rubber type band, cut with band cutters. Mimimomo/Jenny sells them on her site toplinepet.com

Yes they are elastic bands. I will try to cut them and see how it works. Thanks for the web-link as well. | |

| also as maximo pointed out its VERY important to do it DAILY. if i have a ponytail in for too long the part of my head where the band is eventually gets sore, dogs are the same way. Therefore leaving it in for several days at a time is not a good idea. i take Capone's Topknot out before we go to sleep, then i reapply in the morning. im sure if your leaving it in for several days at a time, it starts stretching the hair and eventually pulling it out. ouch. |
