| just a question... Is there a way to keep her hair out of her face that doesn't involve cutting....and outside of a top knot? I'm still working on bow training....but this is what she does when it's in...this is less than five minutes after we finished bath and brushing and I got the barrette in. |

| I have no answer to your question. I wanted to just comment on your picture. lol, all my past girls looked just like that lol.... When I first got my lil adopted 3 y/o lil boy he was shaved. I wanted to see what his hair texture was so I let it grow out. When the hair on his face / head was now in his eyes I put a hair clip on him, he ended up looking like your little one, he managed to get it off and chewed it up lol, I guess to make I would never put it in again lol. Now I keep my lil boy in a puppy cut. I love top knots, but lil Cody boy does not. Your picture to just too cute.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I will sometimes use those tiny little hair clips the ones with the springs that open and close. or the one that snap close when you bend them. You can find either one in the hair accessories in the girls section.

| Such a cutie. That is Max and Teddy's favorite hairstyle. I do a double topknot, one band closer to the eyes to hold the shorter hairs, and a second band further back on the head that holds the first little ponytail too.

| I tell you I have tried everything with this little girl....she is a houdini of hair clips....we have jaw clips, snap in barettes, bands, bows, tiny scrunchies. ...she rubs them all out. I just hate to think she might ruin her hair by doing this. I do have some vet wrap that I saw someone post a clip there are actually bands made of it....I may try to cut a piece and use it but I wonder if it may stick in her hair and pull it when I try to take it out. She's just so cute with all of her hair but she has an adorable face....and plus the hair Gets nasty being floppy in her face like that. Should have named her Daryl Dixon! |

My Ruby Bella did the same thing and Yes, she ruined her beautiful hair/top knot ! I tried single bands, double bands, soft scrunchies, everything. She just dug and dug at her top knot pulling and pulling at it until she had very little hair left. I finally had to just cut it before she did any more damage. She is not sporting some very boyish style bangs and I am hoping that it will grow back thicker but its not looking promising. Its been about 6 7 weeks since I cut it and we are almost to the point of them being long enough to put in a small pony in the front since the crown has not grown in yet. I really miss her beautiful long hair.

| So cute! I know what you mean!! I take her knot out at night but she has to wear it during the day so she can see. She used to pull everything out but has gotten so much better. I'd also like to know what else I can do to keep her hair out of her face so her little head doesn't get sore! Without cutting! I have so many different little things for her hair but I'm sure after a while they get uncomfortable!

| I have thought of using a molding mud (for human hair used for spiking men's hair for example) to kind of slick it back if you will.... if anyone has any input as to wether this is ok to use on a yorkies hair? |

Hair gels and sprays, especially those made for humans, can cause serious eye problems, including corneal ulcers. When my boys were puppies, I had to redo topknots many times throughout the day. I often just used water to slick back their hair into the bands. We still have to do this after play and wrestling sessions.

| So Winnie and I had a break through tonight....to others not a big deal but to me a small victory....she sat for her whole grooming session tonight....cleaning of the eye boogies, brushing, combing and removing of tiny snarls! She usually wiggles and fights! We brushed her teeth which she loves oddly enough....and then she got a rare treat....a jerky! I'm so proud of her! I was tempted to try a topknot since she was being so good....but it's late....and I didn't want to push my luck! Yay Winnie! |

| Another exciting add in for the day....she allowed a top knot today! Squirmed a bit but then sat still long enough to get a pretty good band in....and then she left it in her hair for almost 4 hours! I'm so happy right now it's really kind of sad haha I have attached a pic....please excuse her grubby background. She loves to hang out with her daddy in his workshop! |

| Hey there I would suggest French Barrett clips they are hard for me to find but they certainly stay put and will keep the hair out of her eyes best of luck!
