| Help with keeping coat looking nice Hi, I'm a new yorkie puppy mommy and I'm having trouble keeping her coat looking good. I bath her once or twice a week and brush her out daily (Madan brush), but still by mid-day she is a hot mess. Her coat looks a limp with dirty within a few hours of bath. I'm pretty sure i'm rinsing well to remove everything, but just not sure what else to do. She is 5 months now and I'm not sure when/if her coat will change from puppy coat. Thanks for your input. |

| Puppy hair...they move, they tangle. @ 5 months, she's still in puppy coat stage. Do you use a conditioner? Use a lot of it. Do you use a detangling spray? It really helps w/working out the tangles.

| YVW Conditioner makes their hair more manageable & helps keep it tangle free for @ least a few more days after their bath. It keeps their skin from drying out too.

| is there a particular brand you recommend? i've just been using something from the pet store here...not liking it very much at all. I ordered the travel pack from Chris Christian to try those out but it hasn't come yet. |

| Anything by the chris christensen systems is amazing. I only have to bathe once a week with that. I use day to day line. I think its common yorkie issue to look scruffy shortly after cleaning. I find coconut oil works wonders. It keeps tangles at bay and provides such moisture to skin. My baby gets dry skin if not used at least every other washing. It may look a tad oily or greasy but honestly. Its super healthy and works wonders in many different areas.
