| Feel like a bad first time groomer Decided to give it a shot cutting Bentley's hair. Got personal property taxes due next month so I need to cut back in all areas including skipping his grooming appointment next month. I wanted to shave his face down since no way I could maintain the westie face. He never yepled he never jumped. All of a sudden i noticed I nicked his ear. The little pocket area on the lower outside edge. I feel horrible. I've put neosporin on it and will keep an eye on things. He did real good for me and for my first time ever shaving an animal dispite being a little choppy and lopsided, I don't think I did too bad. No way I will look at changing my career, but it is ok in a pinch.

| Looks good. Ears are sensitive done sweat it... Next time just go with the ear instead of against it.

| He looks lovely You didn't do as bad as me. I once nicked the tongue of one of my Cairns when I was grooming her. She was a beggar for trying to lick the scissors & once she managed to get a bulls eye, just as I was snipping & couldn't stop them closing in time. |
