| Nail Clippers? What nail clippers do you use? I've been using the human kind on Joel since he was a baby but I think his nails are getting too big for them, but I just don't like the feel of the scissor style ones. I just bought a pair and can barely open and close them |

| I have scissory type clippers. They are actually Buddy's- our GSP- and I originally thought that they would be too big to use on Blazer but they work GREAT! I have nice control and I can get the amount off that I want to without cracking his nails. I also clip when his nails are soft after his bath so it is super easy.

| I simply have a nail thing - almost phobia - about cutting a dog's cuticle - so I have to use the Petipaws and grind Tibbe's nails. That way we are both at ease.

| I use a tiny nail trimmer that we got for using on our birds. I just take off the tips (after a bath) and Sophie doesn't seem to mind it at all...just know she's pretty tired after her bath. LOL

| When ZoE was little I just used people toe nail clippers...they're only dollar or two at the local drug store and I'd buy new when they were dull. As she got bigger & her nails got thicker, I used Millers Forge clippers...they work great. Amazon.com: Millers Forge Stainless Steel Dog...

| Thanks I'll just have to get a better brand of the scissor kind. I wish Joel didn't mind the grinder thing but he doesn't like it and I don't want to try it since he's already so good about me cutting his nails |
