| need recommendation My mom has a poodle (i know, should have a yorkie, but not everyone knows how wonderful a yorkie is ). I thought maybe someone could give me a recommendation on clippers for her. She ordered a andis 22360 2 speed clippers with locking blade on amazon. She is returning it cause it gets too hot before she can finish the grooming. She is wanting professional grade clippers, not sure of price range, but i know she paid 145 for these. Anyone have any ideas which ones she needs to look at? any suggestions where? Thanks to all.

| All will get warm after a bit my groom has a silicon covering on her's never have found them myself. I prefer wahl over andis any day now after so many andis breaking on me. I am currently using Oster Power Max not sure model its the new onein with the antimicrobial blade etc. It still get warm after a bit. I find it amazing my wahl peanut stays cool like forever!

| All clipper blades get warm. You can buy Cool Lube to spray on the blades when they start to get too hot. You can also get more than one blade and change them out as they start to get warm. I have the Andis 5 speed clippers and at least 3 of each blade length.

| Mom is familiar with clippers esp with ones for humans. She uses them to cut my dad's hair and has had other dog clippers, so she is aware that they get warm. She said this pair got uncomfortably hot. She told me that there were several reviews on amazon that mentioned that they got really hot, but knows how reviews go and since the majority of reviews were good, she decided to try them anyway. She was very disappointed. I told her i would ask on here. She was not talking just about the blades, but the whole unit.
