| #1 all system Vs Pure Paws Vs CC products Hi to all My yorkie is 6.5 months old and we currently use 1all systems shampoo and conditioner. So far we are pleased. We intend to participate in shows, so we were wondering whether another product grooming line would be better. Have you noticed any skin problems with the PP or CC products? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance |

| I haven't used the other two but I have used CC. I really like CC. My girls hair is so soft when I use it. The only downside for me is I don't think the smell lasts that long. Since my girls are both inside and out (to potty), scent is important to me. But it is a good product. Yorkie Splash and Shine is my favorite as far as long lasting scent. Another good line for softness and shine is IV San Bernard. The PEK conditioner is great.

| Thanks for your reply! I was searching the net and I found this concerning Pure Paws products for our yorkies: http://www.purepaws.net/product_guid...re_terrier.pdf On the other hand, Chris Christensen products do not recommend specific products for yorkies. At least not at their website. The same applies for 1All system products. In a couple of months we are going to start wraping his hair. So I would like to order a complete product line. Has anyone made the transition from one product to the other, and if so, which one would you recommend for wrapping and daily care? Thanks again! |

| CC recommends spectrum 10 for yorkies. I have emailed them. IV San Bernard is great about recommending products for you specific need. They answer me very quickly.

I am not an exhibitor, but once again, reading older posts here, I think exhibitors would probably tell you that there is no one size fits all solution. Each coat is different and responds differently to products. You would probably receive a greater response by posting in the exhibitor section. You can also attend shows and befriend exhibitors to learn more about caring for a show coat. Best wishes.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | If you have access to an Iv San Bernard distributor I would recommend that brand over any of the three brands you've asked about. Iv San Bernard is an Italian company, they will often have a booth a bigger dog shows. They sell a line of product formulated for yorkie coats. Definitely try their PEK conditioner.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I've talked to the owner of Pure Paws many times at grooming convention shows. There are grooming competitors and show dog handlers who swear by their products. Some were even designed with help from certain show breeders. I have a few samples and have used them on Morgan. Love the smell and feel of the coat after use. In order to get great results you need to follow the directions as far as dilution goes. Also, while there are recommended guidelines for each breed regarding which products to use, you have to take into consideration what type of coat your specific dog has and go from there.
