YT 2000 Club Donating Member | The case of the disappearing "stuff" Okay I'm getting Razzle ready for some swimming today. I take off his old booties, and go to find a fresh set!. So after 30 minutes of looking all over the grooming room; I find exactly 4 booties - 3match to each other, and one odd bootie. I am missing the 4th purple bootie match, all 4 of the red kisses booties, and 3 of his winter booties; and another full set of plain cotton booties. Now I go to set out his combs; I "had" two face butter combs, and I love them....can't find them..... I do how-ever find his special "dematter tool", that one was hiding in the "big dogs" grooming box. I am missing my favourite rat tailed steel comb; and a special teasing comb. I find his round small brush in the BOTTOM of the big dogs grooming box; it is all smushed up! I am still missing a green striped wrapping jacket. I tell you where does this stuff go to? I have a CC grooming bag for him; I Hate it!. Things fall out of it when you carry it, or put it in your car for travel. I've not yet seen something I like for him. I want something not too big, not too small. A lid I can close, but space to put in his bathing supplies, and his various sprays n stuff. As well partitions that actually will hold into place the various brushes n combs. I have one special brush that I keep in a plastic container. I've looked at those fishing tackle boxes, but something always seems off, not deep enough, don't need all those little box thingies, etc etc. That's my rant for today.

| LOL..you have one of those little elves at your house, like I have. My grooming supplies never leave the house and they still disappear. I have been searching for a year for my steel tail comb..had to buy another one.

| Oh my..... I use a bag for all my stuff, but it doesn't have a top..... i can suggest you check petedge.com. They have some bags that look pretty nice... I personally would love to have the whole set of 3! Pretty colors, too! TP238_ALT4.jpg Above is a picture of the bags I am talking about.

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH those look like a possibility! I just adore shoppers like you. Thank you, Thank you!!!!! Sometimes I think if it wasn't for dog shows I'd get NO shopping done for the pups. The last few dog shows here in Canada I went to, had few vendors And nothing really new. There is only one vendor that actually sells some Yorkie stuff. Wrapping papers and bands, but NO wrapping jackets or booties We can't get laser lites anymore at the shows; they have gone out of business in North America. I may have to switch no to Vellus for most things. Now I'm going to look at PetEdge

| I feel your pain. It is very frustrating and costly to lose grooming tools and equipment. I went through several before I settled (for now) on the 23 pocket 12" tote. Its the center top row in the link below. It is a bit small and I'm sure I'll outgrow it soon, but for now it works and the zipper closure keeps everything secure. Tool Organizers I wish some of our talented and creative YT members could come up with a similar bag that is pretty! |
