| Sink or tub?? We've always bathed the dogs in the sink. My bf will hold one in the sink while i do all the shampooing and conditioning. Then repeat with the next pup. My bf hates bath day!!! I'm thinking about trying it by myself in the tub. Any suggestions?? Do you bathe your yorkie in the sink or the tub??

| I do all the bathing of Jada and Bogie by myself. I give their baths in the sink and have my drying station set up on the kitchen counter. I used to use the tub....but OMG my aching back at the end of two baths.

| Sink! So much easier. Its up higher so I don't have to bend over and it's got a sprayer-thing that makes it easier to wash him.

| I like the sink, but Brody and Sophia always try to make a run for it!!! So i don't trust using the sink by myself!!

| lol.. the bigger guys in the tub. I don't think Bailey would fit into a sink. I have a few relatives that are so grossed out by bathing a dog in the sink. I clean with bleach when I am so.. so it is not dirty. stupid relatives I have tried the sink, the tub, the shower. I think (except for bailey... oh my aching back) the sink is best. In our house we have a very large tub in the master bath.. tried that .. horrible

| We use the sink with a rubber mat with holes placed on the bottom. I agree with others, it's easier for me than bending over the tub. To make sure no one jumps, I block the dog with my body and always keep one hand on the dog while I reach for products and tools. My favorite method was having dad wash the dogs, lol, but he quit.

| I should say that I keep one hand on the dog at all times because they shake occasionally and nearly shake themselves right out of the sink.

| OK.... so I tried bathing Sophia in the sink by myself. That was a no go. She was SO squirmy I relocated to the tub. She was an ANGEL in the tub!!! I would never have guessed it was the same dog. Brody kept trying to DRINK the tub water... and he laid down in it. I guess it's the tub from now on. Now I have to wait til the BF gets home..... I'm going to be in trouble for bathing his little girl without him there!!!

| I do the sink by myself. I think if I tried it in the tub it'd be like one of those greased pig contests. As long as I keep a hand on him, talk softly, and have treats, he'll reluctantly hold still for me. Those sprayer things come in handy. |

| I give my Luci a bath in the sink, cause she is so little and it's high up. Now Willow and Allie go to the groomer every week for a bath and brush out, but if it was an emergency they woud have to be done in the tub.

| I do my girls baths in the sink all by myself. Mikki was terrible when I first got her. But I guess she is used to the bath now. She is much better. Rosie is a doll when being bathed.

I probably go through more bleach around my kitchen/house, than ANY of my relatives....and when several heard I bathed "those dirty dogs in my kitchen sink, where I prepare food on the counters....OMG!!!!!" My mentor has a WONDERFUL huge laundry room with a HUGE deep sink where she can do her dogs...and a long counter to dry and groom them on....I am sooooo jealous! | |

AWWWW I wish I had what your Mentor has, then I wouldn't have to take Willow and Allie to the groomer every week for a bath and brush out. I can't lean over the tub it would kill my back.

| There are 5 small dogs here. I use the sink and dry in my bathroom,I have a stool that I sit on. I try not to do more than one a day or I will brush out, trim nails and trim hair one evening when they are less active and then bath then next morning. Sometimes I will do the grooming and washing and my DD will dry for me. |
