2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I comb wet after a bath. If its not a full grooming day I use a spray bottle with some conditioner in it to dampen the hair so I dont damage it. Just like my own hair, I never use a brush on my dry hair. I use the same kind of spray bottle for my hair.

| NEVER brush a WET, DRY, or DIRTY hair, it will cause breakage. I work out tangles after a bath & always use some sort of conditioning spray. It helps to loosen the tangle. DON'T skip detangling & let the tangles settle & wait for another bath...it spreads! Some mats (esp if it's been there awhile) will shrink & tighten after a bath, so it's best to shave/cut it off...that's why so many pups come out from the groomers nekkid! lolll

| I use the sprays very sparingly, a little goes a long way. I spray it on my hands & distribute where I need it. If there's a stubborn mat, I spray directly on it. You can use whatever grooming tool you're comfortable with...as long as the brush doesn't have balls on the ends, as the hair gets snagged & it causes a lot of damage.

| Sorry, I didn't word it right! As long as your pin brush doesn't have balls @ the tips of the pins, it's ok...whatever works for you.
