| Oh, gosh! Yet another hatchet job done on a Yorkie! Is this the first trip to this groomer? Was it one of the chain stores or a private salon? As I have mentioned on several other threads there are no training regulations for groomers. Anyone can pick up some clippers and call themselves a "groomer." It's going to take quite a while for the fur to grow in. Find another groomer and don't just take your dog there. Go there ahead of time and ask questions about their training and experience. Watch how they treat the animals. If thy don't want you to watch then don't give them your business. I am blessed to have a groomer that also shows long haired dogs so she is well experienced in proper grooming methods. She is also very kind to her furry clients. Hope you have better experiences in the future. By the way I would not have paid for such a horrible hair chopping on my pet. |
