| woolly hair I posted in the wrong spot so i'm reposting here. I was hoping Joel wouldn't have the woolly kind of hair, but he does I cant get a brush through no matter what I use in his hair. I thought I was buying cheap stuff that didnt work but its just his hair lol, too bad because I wanted his hair to be a little longer but I guess I'll have to keep it short. Is there anything for the woolly kind of hair? |

| Use a really good conditioner in the bath and a brushing spray conditioner when you brush. There are many great product choices for cotton coats. What are you using now for hair products?

| Im not sure what the stuff I use now but the groomers at petco gave me the stuff they use for yorkies, its like a detangler, and I definetly need another shampoo because right now i just use a normal dog shampoo. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | the best thing I have found for my cotton coat yorkie is a razor. LOL I shave her down short every couple of months and never have to worry about her nappy looking hair. I'm a groomer so I have access to practically every product out there. Nothing works better then a short haircut.

| Buster has the same kind of hair. The detangler/coat conditioner by Yorkie Splash is excellent for this kind of coat. I let him grow out some but I eventually cut it short. When I let him grow out, I have to brush every night using the detangler. It's the best stuff I've found and I've tried a jillion things.

| sorry but i dont find this to be true...yes there is work involved with grooming my cedric but since using YS&S products his hair acts more like a silky yorkie than a cotton yorkie. his tangles are almost non existant and with daily brushing he stays shiney and neat. my husband insists he will have long hair and with splash and shine i no longer need to stress about it.
