Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Reviews of Chris Christensen Wooden Pin Brush? Any reviews of this brush? I ordered one for my Katie Scarlett. I believe she has a cottony coat and I have noticed her tangling more than she used to. I used the yorkie splash and shine for the first time yesterday and am really pleased but I know she needs a better brush. I bought a basic one from petsmart when we brought her home and I don't care for it. Any tips on caring for a cotton coat? I love my baby so much and want to keep her looking and feeling as good as I can. Thanks!

| I love my CC wood pin brush, and I love the #1 All Systems wood pin massage brush that I sell: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...l-systems.html You can spray brushing sprays right onto the brush like any other pin brush to detangle easier and more gently. To clean, rinse in mild soapy water and air dry. Try the wood pin brush on your own head -- you'll love it!

| I highly recommend the wood pin brush that Kristin sells. My Lola Belle really disliked being brushed with the brush i purchased from petsmart. The wood pin brush is wonderful she actually enjoys being brushed now

| I have the CC pin brush and it wokrs well on Zhoie's cotton coat. You will really like the wooden pins. Her's is a pink oval one. It's kinda a larger oval than what I would like for her small frame...probably about 9" in handle length and 2.5" on oval base. I would like to find one smaller for her, anyone know which one that would be

| LOVE the wooden pin brush!! We use it daily! BUT it isn't a good brush for after bath on wet hair.... remember it is wooden, and it suggests not to use it on wet hair (especially if you want it to last a long time!). We use a reg CC brush for after bath.

| Love the wood pin brushes - got a second one at the Louisville show because I worry about losing it - when we travel I won't even pack it in the luggage for fear it would get lost Also use the smallest butter comb for the face.

| I notice KS wears a lot of clothes. If she is a true sot coated pup, you may want to consider a Joey cut to keep her comfortable and tangle free. She is still young and might be going through an awkward phase. Her hair looks a lot nicer than Kaji's in his awkward phase. He's a soft coated pup and nothing other than a short hair cut helped. His hair tangled even if you just looked at it. It was BAD! I hope this helped even if it wasn't a brush review.
