What Clippers To Buy? I'm a new Yorkie owner and am learning to groom her myself. I've ordered the Wahl Pro Pet Series Clipper for Dogs Wahl Pro-Series - Walmart.com based on Amazon's reviews. Would these be the right size for the Yorkie? I've seen some videos and noticed that the clipper seems smaller than this one. What clippers do you recommend? Thanks.

I think I have used them all. Personally I like either Oster or Andis. I don't use the clipper on Dudley, but Kayla's hair is soooo thick I use a 5 blade on her body, 30 on the ears.

Mine are also the 2 speed. I really prefer Andis over Oster. They were the only ones on low speed that would go through Lexi's hair. (mini schnauzer)

I have Andis as well (2 speed) and love them. I've been using them on my maltese & my daughter's porkie for years. I don't use them much on my yorkie, I like her a little longer, so just scissor her and then use thinning shears to texturize. I do use the 10 blade for her tummy. I'm looking for a good qualityquiet trimmer for ears & paws though, if anyone has any suggestions. I just tried the Andis Power Trim cordless, quiet, but I think it may have been faulty...one paw and it was super hot already. Also tried one of the Wahl brand cordless and it vibrates like crazy and scares her.
