| Grew them out now cutting them short again. I decided with a baby coming it was time to give both dogs short cuts. Also it's easier on harness and sweater wear to not have these long matting coats and it'll be nice to stop daily brushings and matte detangling sessions that we all hate. So I'll post before and after pics but any good ideas or pictures of yorkies and silky terriers in short cuts would be helpful. We go in Thursday to try a new groomer. FX that it's a good new person. Our last groomer started getting lazy and doing them really choppy. |

| I have Jada and Bogie (biewer) both in the "Joey"/"Zhoie" hair cut. I do it myself and love this cut. I use a 7F blade on the body for an almost shave and leave the hair on the legs and face long. When they are wearing clothes it looks like they have long hair and grooming is a breeze. I will never have them in long coats again. 100B1940 (600x400).jpg

| I go short all over, and leave a little top knot, and beard. I just love me a man with facial hair! Kaji hates, hates, hates his leg/feet brushed out, so those have to be short too.

| Are they both in full coats now? Levi's beard is long, and the hair on top of his head and around his ears is pretty long. Face is short. Body hair/leg hair is medium length. His cut is a LOT less work than a full coat, but still requires daily brushing and regular grooming - might still be a bit too much with the baby.

| I love the puppy cut. It is by far my favorite although I did just see a cut that was super cute. I might try on ella later. I'll post pictures ella just got a cut, she's got a combo coat, hardly mattes but super soft/thick like a cotton coat. I finally got my chocolate yorkie I've waited for since 2005 and I'm trying to grow him out. He's still rockin' his puppy coat on the ends LOL |

| I think the long coats are gorgeous- but I just can't deal with all that hair, lol- mine just got cut shorter today. I love the Joey/Zhoie look but mine mat the worst on their legs- I wish I could do that!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I had Cali cut in to a puppy cut a few weeks ago and love how much easier it is for us both.

YT Addict | I love those cuts. I had to get Abby shaved because of matting. At first it was I shock and I hated it but I have gotten used to it and the short amount of time needed to groom her is a plus. Having the head and legs long give a good illusion of long hair with less maintenance . I love it. |

I kind of like when Jackson's face is a BIT longer than this pic- I can't ever get a groomer to do EXACTLY what I want w/ his face.... but this cut works for him and I think Bentley would look good like this too! The 2nd pic I liked his face better, I think. He is soooo low maintence. Seriously. I brush him probably once every 7 days (and it's only his tail and face lol), give him a bath about every 10 days (sometimes longer in the winter), he's really zero upkeep with his hair.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I've always groomed Morgan with a short body and longer legs. Her face length varies each time I groomer her. It depends on my mood.
