| Top Knot Help Dash was bred, born and raised for 8 months as a show dog and has the most beautiful silky coat that I am trying very hard to maintain. I will eventually trim it, but at almost 9 months he isn't quite ready yet. I brush him daily and fix his "top knot' - it's really just a puffy pony tail at this point, but I can't figure out how to keep it from looking like this:

YT 1000 Club Member | I have found that dividing the topknot into 2 sections, band the front part then put together with the back part and put in another band.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Some days my 3 with topknots flop forward. I think it's when I don't put in far enough back. I think Nikki who has the silky coat has more of an issue with it flopping forward. The other 2 have cottony coats and the weight seems to keep it back better. Hopefully some others will have some ideas. Dash is adorable.

| If you put it back further it won't flop forward like that. It looks cute anyway, though!
