| What did I do!? So last night I took out the shaver o cu aroundher eyes so she could see. I thought well her hiris getting long so I should trim it up a bit, so its not so hard to groom her. I took out a chunck in her back, and felt horrible! She a few hors later I decieded to just shave the rest of her down. Now her hair is about a cm long if evn that! I keped her neck up the same length. I just didn't kno how long it takes for it to grow out! I feel horrible! I mean she doesn't look to too bad |

| Hair grows back. Make sure she stays warm enough in your home and outside. Sometimes when the hair is that short, these little ones will get cold without a tshirt or something covering them.

| The groomer shaved Beamer down by mistake last October (they were supposed to shave Lil Bit down and just groom Beamer, and they got them mixed up!!) and his coat didn't grow back to where it was until April. I never used that place again - I now have a groomer that comes to the house.

| It probably will take her awhile to grow out. Depends on her coat though!! My Bellas coat grows like crazy, but I believe she is a modified cottony coat, which grows a bit faster than the more desired silky coat. I am sure she is adorable in her 'new' cut!!!

| Just like you and I, their hair grows at different rates, but I would plan on months. The first time we took our little guy in and had him cut with the longest clipper I cried for days and it took months to grow back. I didn't realize just how short it was going to be.

| @ Maggies-Mommy.... I shaved down my Yorkie-poo & my Yorkie-poo-shihtzu today....was only supposed to have been a 'trim' but like something you'd see in a sitcom, one quick move and a strip missing down my Fred's little back....like a backwards mo-hawk! Dang if the same thing didn't happen with my other one as I was just touching-up one area. Now they're both NAKED! =] I have had to shave them in the past but their coats grew out fine but it did take several months. Just as short as two weeks though, they already had a good amount of growth. (They are mixes and I think they would fall more on the 'cotton coat' side.) |
