Yorkie Yakker | How to groom a yorkies paw in full coat i was wondering if anyone knew how to groom the paw i've seen many things on the net but nothings helped. if there is anyone who knows how to do this or has pics or videos help me. pls...... |

| Clip the hair to the edge of the foot..round it off...you can clip it shorter on the foot for a pet coat. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Bottom of foot, Use blunt nosed scissors or a clipper. Make sure you go between pads of paw. If top of foot, one way is to hold just above ankle and trim in a circular pattern over foot.

| Are you getting a choppy looking coat that is too short? I see you asked "in a full coat" so I feel like you may know how to cut the bottom of the pad. Is this correct? Separate the leg coat at the knee coat. If you don't pull the rest of the coat away prior to cutting you cut the foot too short. Pull the coat down & cut an outline around the foot. You will only cut an outline of leg cut around the foot. Some people do it on the grooming table. By cutting the outline of the foot. I can't do it this way. |
