YT Addict | I just got my yorky this fall . They had given him a summer cut . Choppy one at that. So i want the long look. He isnt a show dog just love the look. But right at his eyes he had to thick sprigs tha fell right in the middle of his eyes. I kept tring to put the up top or down his nose but they would not go either way. Id wet them and soon as they dried they were back across his eyes. So after his bath i cut them off. Looks better tho. Hoped they would get heavy enough to lay down but didnt happen. |

| Hi everyone! Thanks for all the helpful information! I was wondering, if I cut the hair around my yorkie's eyes, how often would I need to trim it to avoid the hair poking into his eyes? Also, should I use scissors for this? I definitely like the teddy bear look - http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/att...0terrorier.jpg |

| I just had the groomer cut and trim around the eyes. This has been a mini blessing for us because Emma's eye goops just fall off instead of getting stuck in her hair.

| I literally cannot see Hudson's face bc he is a puppy and the breeder was growing him long. I am taking him for his first professional grooming tomorrow (though I am hoping to use canana's advice to groom them someday myself!). I am thinking about having them trim his eyes/ face. anyone have regrets? |
