| No topknot Can anyone tell me how they trim the hair on top of the head of you don't want a topknot? I prefer to keep Shadow's hair on the short side and don't want a topknot. I groom her myself but don't want to use a clipper (afraid I'll get a buzz cut), and I'm not sure if it should be trimmed like a human's head. Any advice? Thanks |

| How much to comb forward? Would I comb all the hair in front of the ears forward to trim for the bangs? My boy has a beautiful coat but the hair on his head is too long. Thanks.

| No about 1/2 inch band in above the brow line. You then begin using the blending shears and begin blending back.

| My groomer cuts the hair above his eyes shorter then it gets a little longer as you get to the top of his head. Sometimes I fluff the top of his hair up and call him my punk rock puppy! |

| You can use the clippers on the top of the head but use one of those big comb attachments over it. Mine basically get shaved (minus Sam's topknot) when I give them haircuts, then I let them grow out to shaggy over 6-8 weeks and then start over. Loki's head is always short, which I love with his floppy ears
