| So how much do you trim? I trim Bilbo's nails regularly(2-3 times a week), but I feel as though I am just maintaining the status quo. I'm so terrified of getting into the quick, I trim off tiny slivers about the width of the blade, maybe three or four per nail. His nails are still too long, but I have no idea how much to trim off. Since his nails are black, I don't think I would recognize the quick until I cut into it. Can anyone give me some hints? We go on walks daily, but that doesn't seem to work on filing them down. And he HATES the Pedi-Paws. |
