| Minksheen shampoo? I ordered sample from Jenny & can't wait to try it. I'm hoping it works effectively to keep fleas off of Lulu as I don't really want to use any meds on her right now b/c she's so small. My question is should I use a conditioner as well or is the Minksheen conditioning enough? I know it says no conditioner is needed, but I wanted to hear from folks who use it. |

| Mine need an additional conditioner, especially the combo or cotton coats. The silky coats do alright with just minksheen, but they groom so much easier with the extra conditioner. I recently discovered Iv San Bernard's PEK conditioner and it is the BEST thing ever - love it!

| I used to always use it, but switched to Petsilk. I am going to order more of it because I think it did keep the fleas from biting mine. I use Advantage multi in the summer, but I have noticed some little bumps around their groin area. Sorry I went off topic! I never did use an additional conditioner when I used MinkSheen. |

| You can pm YT member Jencar98 and ask if she has any samples left. If you like it, you have to order it directly from Iv San Bernard - there's a long thread in the grooming section about this stuff and it has the contact/order info in it.

| I love Minksheen! Have not had to use any flea meds on the pups this year, and have not found a single flea! I use a leave in conditioner as well and it works wonders on them. |

| I have been using Minksheen on my Angel for a few years now. I LOVE the smell, but have heard from many who do not. I am not into perfumes, but love the natural smell of essential oils. I do add a little melted coconut oil to the shampoo on her and then I do use a conditioner as well - Buddy Rinse. I am also in love the Bio-Groom Mink Oil spray conditioner for daily grooming. It is great stuff and I think would really help a cottony coat (though Angel is much more silky). All that being said, I use Buddy Wash/Rinse on Sissy as it just leaves her coat nicer than Minksheen. She has a much coarser coat on the body, but still silky on her head. I also add a little melted coconut oil for her and hse the Bio-Groom Mink Oil Conditioner for daily grooming. P.S. I should add that I do not use any flea protection as my girls use indoor potty pads, but we are outdoors on occasion and I have never had a problem, even when visiting sandy areas that are known for fleas.

| I use minksheen, and love it as a natural flea repellant. I do not use an added conditioner. My problem is no matter how long I rinse Pistol is greasey looking in two or three days. He has a silky coat maybe thats why. |
