| Yorkie Grooming Question My husband took Pebbles to a new groomer today...her previous groomer was not trimming her nails for the past 3 visits despite me continuously telling them to, they kept insisting they did but it was obvious that they hadn't even filed them, let alone trimmed them...anyway the new groomer cut Pebbles very very short. They did trim her nails! Lesson learned I guess...do not send hubby to the groomer! My question is about how long does it take for a yorkies hair to grow back out? Are there any products that will encourage hair growth without harming her or her coat? I do like the new groomer better. She uses all natural shampoos. And Pebbles smells wonderful! I just prefer her hair to be longer. At this oint I can't even put a bow in her hair and she does keep shivering. I had to get her out a big blankie! Thanks in advance for all your help!

| Aww poor baby! I don't know if there is anything to help her hair grow faster or not. But I do understand the pain of finding a good groomer. Mine had to go to three or four places before I found a groomer I love! One cut Rosie short in the back (my husband said she looked like she had turkey legs) and made her legs really stand out. To the best that I can remember it did not take very long for her hair to grow back. So, hopefully it won't take you very long. |

| Last October we went on a cruise. Had to leave Lil Bit and Beamer at the kennels. Never used the kennel before (was a "Preppy Pet Suite") as I usually had someone I could trust to take care of Lil Bit. But as we also had Beamer we decided to use this particular kennel. They did grooming also, and we asked that Beamer be brushed and Lil Bit be shaved down, as we keep her short. When we came back from the cruise Bruce went to pick them up and I could have cried. They had cut Beamer way short, a short puppy cut, and just brushed Lil Bit. I called them right away, and the guy said that his wife had got them mixed up and he was sorry! Took about 4 months for his coat to get to where it had been. And we had to have our regular groomer come over and shave Lil Bit for us. Her coat matts too easily and she is happiest when she is shaved down. Needless to say we won't be boarding them there again.
