| Two Questions... One: Bilbo's face/eye hair is getting longer and I cant really decide if I should start putting topknots in his hair or not. I can't really see his eyes and yesterday a friend asked me if he could see! I will attach a pic. I just basically dont know when to start using top knots. Keep in mind, his hair isnt really that long yet. Two: I also have a Persian cat baby named Molly. She's really sweet and so is Bilbo and they get along really well. The only thing is sometimes she steps on Bilbo when he's sleeping and he snaps at her ( he also does this to our 70lb aussie shepherd!) Is this something that I should correct? or is it just something thats kind of expected? Thanks for looking/ answering!

| You mean like this? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...have-eyes.html I use to cut the hair in between the eyes and I just don't want to do it anymore. I'm growing it out and now he can't see. For now I clip the hair in place, and my brothers call him Sasha Vujacic. Kaji growls when his friend Missy steps on him when they're both on my lap. I just remind him to be nice.

| Haha kaji looks cute w his clip. Ya it's hard to grow their topknot bc their eyes get covered for awhile but it'll be long enough in no time. Mine had to deal w hair in her eyes bc I actually did try a small clip like that but on top of her head and shed shake it out all the time so I just let it grow. She never ran into walls so I guess they can see. Hahah |

| You can also gel the hair back until it grows long enough to do a clip or band. They sell pet hair gel on Petedge.com which is really thick and doesn't leave much residue. As for the snapping issue, I don't blame him if the cat is stepping on him!! The cat will learn soon enough not to step on him when he is sleeping, hopefully, since we all know that cats aren't as smart as Yorkies!!!

No Longer a Member | I was actually considering getting Rizzo trimmed up like Brit's Jackson, mostly cause Rizzo really doesn't enjoy the whole putting the top-knot in. I love all his little bows but as soon as I pull out the comb and the rubber bands he just "melts" the the floor. Really makes me feel guilty, lol though once I get them in he runs around like he is happy as can be, probably cause he can see clearly. So I suppose it's whatever your pref. is, they look adorable with bows and top knots, but some just know how to guilt trip you into trimming their hair up. |
