| Pet Silk Top Knot Gel Does anyone know who has the best price on Petsilk Top Knot Gel? Last month when I groomed the boys I got scissor happy with the hair around Jamie's nose and eyes. And of course after I was done I hated it. (He still looks incredibly cute but I'm a perfectionist!) Now I'm trying to grow it back out and all these little hairs are driving me nuts again. The only bad thing about grooming them myself is that there's no one to blame but me!

| Natural Gel for Yorkies Hair Quote:
I dislike this when people do that because when they begin to grow back they poke up into the eye area and is so annoying, for the care taker but also the Yorkie. When I first got my pup she had this crazy doo. I grew it out. Instead of using a gel from petsilk, I simply brought some flaxseed with water to a boil, set aside and strained into a jar. I use a bit on my finger to apply when grooming. It is natural, non scented and works great! Keep the mix in the fridge. Take a bit out at grooming so to warm up a bit (as it will be very gelled from the fridge) and sometimes I may add a tich of hot water to thin it back out a bit so to be applicable. Make a new mix weekly. | |
